Q: Can I use a PlayStation4 Pro without a 4k TV?
A: This high-performance games console really was designed with 4K televisions in mind. In fact, the primary selling point of the PlayStation4 Pro was that it can run games at much higher resolutions than the standard PS4 if you have an Ultra HD display. That being said, you can of course use a PS4 Pro on a 1080p screen (which is standard High Definition TV). However, there are benefits to those playing on 1080p screens – the PS4 Pro plays every standard PS4 game there is, but they’re just a little more supercharged to enable better visual effects and a higher frame rate compared with a standard PS4.
